Received this from a man I'll call basanos (a word which evolved in the Attic Greek in meaning, from "test" to "torture", with its literal meaning being derived from the touchstone which exposes the impurity of alloyed metal allowing it to be refined and purified, according to him). I told him that he had captured my imagination, and this was his reply:
As have You, mine....i'm glued to Your blogs....no sleep for me tonight, even if i tried. i must read and read and read You, a thirst both discovered and wanting quenching, a trance. Yep, You've captured mine, too, and each word You've written is the sweetest link in a chain. And the poems....Yours and theirs, i can't possibly budge from this screen 'til i've read all of You there. i AM getting a load of You, and what are words like Yours, here and in Your blogs, but little nets, each and every one. Yes, Your writing has Power. Let it do its work.
