I've decided it's all about W. Not referring in this instance to our President.

W as in Writer. W as in Whipsman. W as in Welder. W as in Warrior.

What might round that out? What other vocation/avocation possibilities exist?

How about, 'W as in Whore."

Past President, on the car trip up to the retreat, asked me matter-of-factly if I'd considered doing escorting to get money. (He didn't mean taking debutantes to balls.) I told him I hadn't, as I had concerns that doing something I love for money would change the experience for me, and forever after it would be something of a performance, a very different headspace. However, he pointed out that a lot of guys we know did that and do that from time to time, and their play doesn't seem to suffer.

Huh.

And then a thought occurred to me. Perhaps if I had a pimp... Maybe what I need is representation. I can't quite put my finger on how that would make the experience different for me in terms of the dynamic, but I sense that it would. I've talked to a guy on line who alluded to 'alternative sources of income.' Maybe I should ask him.

Suddenly I'm thinking of 'Risky Business.'
